1. Utility Helpers Services

Utility Helpers provides move-in concierge and home-service assistance.

Depending on the customer's address and the availability of providers, Utility Helpers may assist with services including:

Electricity;
Water, sewer, and trash;
Natural gas;
Internet;
Television;
Telephone services;
Home security;
Homeowners insurance;
Moving services;
Portable storage;
Home warranties; and
Other products and services associated with moving into or maintaining a home.

Utility Helpers may research available providers, review options with customers, assist with orders, coordinate service requests, provide instructions, and help facilitate communication with service providers.

2. Third-Party Providers

Many products and services available through Utility Helpers are offered or fulfilled by independent third-party providers.

Customers are responsible for reviewing and agreeing to the applicable provider's:

Pricing;
Terms and conditions;
Contracts;
Service requirements;
Eligibility requirements;
Credit requirements;
Installation requirements;
Cancellation policies;
Privacy policies; and
Other conditions.

Utility Helpers does not control the availability, pricing, terms, performance, or service quality of independent third-party providers.

Availability of particular products or services may vary by address and geographic area.

3. Information Provided to Utility Helpers

You agree to provide accurate information when requesting Utility Helpers services.

If you provide information concerning another individual, you represent that you are authorized to provide the information for the service-related purpose for which it is submitted.

Submission of another person's telephone number does not, by itself, provide consent for that person to receive promotional SMS messages.

4. SMS Messaging Program

Customers who expressly opt in to receive text messages from Utility Helpers LLC may receive recurring SMS messages from Utility Helpers.

Messages may include:

Order updates;
Account updates;
Appointment reminders;
Installation reminders;
Requests for information needed to complete a service request;
Customer-service communications;
Information regarding requested utilities or home services; and
Promotional offers concerning Utility Helpers products or services when the customer has consented to receive such communications.

Message frequency varies.

Message and data rates may apply.

Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.

5. SMS Opt-Out

You may cancel your participation in the Utility Helpers SMS messaging program at any time by replying:

STOP

After you send STOP, you may receive a final confirmation message acknowledging your opt-out.

After that confirmation, Utility Helpers will no longer send messages through that SMS program unless you subsequently provide consent to receive messages again.

7. Mobile Privacy

Utility Helpers does not sell, rent, share, or otherwise disclose mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information, or SMS consent information to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

SMS opt-in information and consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Utility Helpers may use vendors or service providers as necessary to operate its messaging service. Those providers are permitted to use the information only to provide services to Utility Helpers and are not permitted to use your SMS consent information for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

8. Wireless Carrier Disclaimer

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and may be affected by factors outside Utility Helpers' control.

Utility Helpers does not guarantee that every SMS message will be delivered.

9. Telephone Communications

Utility Helpers may contact customers by telephone regarding service requests, orders, account matters, or products and services.

Where required by applicable law, Utility Helpers will obtain appropriate consent before making marketing calls or using automated technology.

Consent to receive marketing communications is not a condition of purchasing a product or service.

10. Email Communications

Utility Helpers may send transactional, service-related, and other permitted communications by email.

Recipients may unsubscribe from promotional emails by following the unsubscribe instructions contained in those communications.

Certain transactional or service-related communications may still be sent when necessary to provide requested services.

11. No Guarantee of Provider Availability

Utility Helpers cannot guarantee that a particular utility, internet provider, security provider, insurance company, moving company, home-warranty company, or other provider will be available at a particular address.

Availability, pricing, eligibility, installation dates, promotions, terms, and provider requirements may change without notice.

12. Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for reviewing information supplied by third-party providers before agreeing to purchase or establish service.

Certain providers may require:

Identity verification;
Credit approval;
Deposits;
Contracts;
Installation charges;
Activation charges;
Equipment charges;
Documentation;
Direct interaction with the homeowner; or
Other requirements.

Utility Helpers does not waive or modify requirements imposed by third-party providers.

13. Website and Application Use

You agree not to misuse Utility Helpers' website, applications, systems, or services.

You may not attempt to:

Gain unauthorized access to Utility Helpers systems;
Interfere with the operation or security of our services;
Submit fraudulent or intentionally inaccurate information;
Use our systems for unlawful purposes; or
Violate the rights of Utility Helpers or another person.

14. Intellectual Property

The Utility Helpers name, branding, websites, applications, software, content, graphics, logos, and other proprietary materials are owned by Utility Helpers or used under appropriate authorization.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Utility Helpers intellectual property to a user.

15. Limitation Regarding Third-Party Services

Utility Helpers assists customers in locating and coordinating third-party services but is not responsible for the acts or omissions of independent service providers.

To the extent permitted by law, Utility Helpers is not responsible for damages arising solely from the performance, failure, delay, pricing, contractual terms, installation, or conduct of an independent third-party provider.

Use of Utility Helpers services is also subject to our Privacy Policy:

17. Changes to These Terms

Utility Helpers may update these Terms periodically.

Continued use of Utility Helpers services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those Terms to the extent permitted by law.
